Your email's design/layout

  1. Does the design grab and then hold your audience's attention?  Use plenty of white space to ensure that the message doesn't seem cluttered.

  2. Break up your text into bullet points and short paragraphs.

  3. Consider using a bit of colour to highlight the key message and your call to action.

  4. Can the whole email be read on the screen without scrolling down?

  5. Would someone with imperfect eyesight find the point size too small?

  6. Finally, don't forget to include your unsubscribe link.
