Demographics - who is coming to your website?

Google collects data from searchers habits online and is able to profile a searcher to provide you with the demographic criteria of the potential customers coming to your website.

Use this information to determine whether the audience you’re getting is the target audience you want.

The ‘Audience’ tab on your Google Analytics

The Audience tab should be the first place you should check to understand the kind of people who are visiting your site.

  1. Click the filter buttons on your Google Analytics dashboard to categorise the location, age and gender of your website’s visitors.
  2. You can also discover whether the majority of your visitors are new to your site, or repeat viewers.
  3. You can also find out what kind of devices people are using to view your website.
